Last Updated: November 4, 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how TalkViaLink ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our platform. This policy applies to all users, including buyers who purchase content or services and sellers who offer paid chat, content, or calls. By using TalkViaLink, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

Eligibility and User Responsibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use TalkViaLink, or 21 years of age if you reside in Alabama, Mississippi, Nebraska, or Wyoming. You are responsible for ensuring that all personal data you provide to us is accurate, complete, and current. You can update your account details at any time through your account settings. Providing inaccurate or incomplete information may affect your ability to access certain features or services on our platform.

What is Personal Data

Personal data refers to any information that can be used to identify you as an individual. This includes but is not limited to your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, payment information, identity documents, usage patterns, and other information you provide to us or that we collect through your use of our platform.

Information We Collect

We collect certain personal data to provide you with access to our services and to comply with legal obligations. If you choose not to provide required information, you may not be able to use certain features or services on TalkViaLink. We or our service providers collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and profile information including your full name or alias, email address, phone number, country of residence, date of birth, profile photo, display name, and profile header image.
  • Identity verification information including government-issued identity documents, selfies for age verification purposes, and biometric data such as facial recognition comparisons.
  • Communication data including chat history with other users, messages sent and received, and interaction records.
  • Payment and financial information including credit or debit card data (processed by PCI-compliant processors), billing zip codes, payout addresses, payout information (bank account details and tax documentation), and transaction history including earnings, purchases, subscriptions, tips, and failed payment attempts.
  • Technical and usage information including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device information, login timestamps, geolocation data, usage logs, diagnostic information, cookies and similar tracking technologies, and metadata about your interactions with our platform.
  • Third-party service data including information collected through Google Analytics for website analytics and performance monitoring, Stytch for authentication and account security, and identity verification services for age and identity confirmation. We also collect verification outcomes, onboarding metadata (timestamps), and facial recognition data used solely for identity verification purposes.

How We Use Your Information

We use the personal data we collect for the following purposes: to verify your age and identity in compliance with legal requirements, to create and administer your account, to process transactions and manage payments, to enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, to provide technical and customer support, to detect and prevent fraudulent activity, spam, and other harmful behavior, to conduct internal analytics and improve platform functionality and user experience, to meet legal obligations including tax reporting and responding to law enforcement requests when legally required, to communicate with you about your account, transactions, and platform updates, and to ensure the safety and security of our platform and users.

Age and Identity Verification

All sellers on TalkViaLink must complete our age and identity verification process before being permitted to sell services or content on the platform. This verification process includes uploading government-issued identity documents, biometric analysis including facial recognition comparison to match your selfie with your identity document, and receiving a verification pass or fail determination. Sellers cannot access selling features until they have successfully passed verification.

For buyers, identity verification is only required where legally mandated. Currently, this includes users in Arkansas, Virginia, Mississippi, Utah, Louisiana, and Texas. If you reside in one of these states, you may be required to verify your age and identity before accessing certain content or features. We handle identity verification processes in-house using secure verification technology and service providers.
